1. APRIL-

A. Felicitation Ceremony-

Award ceremony had been organised by the school in which the awardees got the award for the different category of academic or non-academic activities such as Academic excellence, 100% attendance, Student of the year and Best house award.

B. Banner Making Competition (Inter House Competition)

Banner Making Competition had been organised by the school on the occasion of Family day. Certificates had been given to the winners also.

3. JULY-

A. Celebration of Doctor’s Day-

Doctor’s Day had been celebrated in the morning assembly in which the students made aware about importance of Doctor’s in our life.

B. EID celebration- (Inter House Competition)

Inter House Competition had been organised by the school in which the 4 different house took participate on the ‘Kawali Competition’ and other students also celebrated the Eid by giving different performances.

C. World Population Day-

On the occasion of World Population Day, ‘Essay Writing Competition had been organised by the school for class 9th to 12th in which the students described the effects of increasing population.

4. AUGUST-

A. Soul of Dr. Kalam-

To gave the condolence to the departed soul of Dr. Kalam a seven day condolence programme had been organised by the school in which, lightening of 83 candles, planting trees, science quiz, the work done by Dr. Kalam in science and importance of science lab was there.

B. Shivratri Celebration-

On the occasion of Shivratri, a cultural programme had been organised by the school in which the students of K.G. section took part and gave wonderful performances.

C. Independence Day-

Interclass Competitions

  • Fancy Dress Competition (for classes I & II)
  • Hand/ Face Painting (for classes III to V)
  • Tatoo Making Competition (for classes VI & VIII)

On the occasion of Independence day, different Interclass competition had been organised by the school in which the students showed their talent.

Flag hoisting had also been done by the Managing committee and Principal Sir. Students performed as well and celebrated the Independence day.

D. Inter House Competition-

Patriotic Song- Patriotic song singing competition had been organised by the school and certificates had been given to the winners.

5. SEPTEMBER-

A. Fancy Dress and Flute Decorating Competition (Inter Class Competition)- for class K.G. Section-

Inter class competition had been organised by the school.

B. Teacher’s Day Celebration-

Students organised a programme to thank the teachers and perform many cultural programmes on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.

C. Skit Competition (On the occasion of Daughter’s Day- Inter House Competition )

Inter House Skit Competition had been organised by the school through which the students enlighten us the importance of daughter by enacting different skit prepared by different houses of the school. Certificates had also been given to the winners also.

D. Hindi Diwas Celebration-

  • Story telling competition (classes I & II)
  • Just a minute (classes III to VIII)
  • Poem Telling Competition (classes IX to XII)

On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, the school had organised different competition in which students showed their extra talent and told us the importance of our Hindi language in our life. Certificates had been given to the winners.

6. OCTOBER-

A. Gandhi Jayanti Celebration-

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a cultural and patriotic programme had been organised by the school in which students remembered the Mahatma Gandhi by singing a song and dance performances.

B. Spic Macay-

Spic Macay organisation had come to school to encourage the students for the classical music. Mrs. Aarti Ankelar also taught some tips to the students.

C. Workshop by Johnson & Johnson-

A counselling workshop had been organised by the school in which the team of Johnson & Johnson counselled the girls students about the changes that they face when their age reaches to puberty.

D. Navratri Celebration-

A morning assembly in which the Goddess Durga remembrance had been done on the occasion of Navratri.

E. Make “Effigy of Ravan” Contest (On the occasion of Dussehra- Inter House Competition)

ON the occasion of Dussehra, Inter house competition had been organised by the school in which the students of different houses make effigy of Ravan and gave answers of the quiz based on Ramayan depicting message of victory of good over evil. Certificates had been given to the winners.

F. Inter Class Competitions-

  • Tiny Tots talent hunt- for K G Section
  • Mask Making Competition- for I & II
  • Cross & bow & arrow making competition- for III to V
  • Patriotic song- for classes VI to VIII
  • Decorating Dandiya Stick- for IX to XI

Different Inter class competition had been organised by the school on the occasion of Dussehra & Diwali Certificates had been given to the winners.

7. NOVEMBER-

A. Diwali Celebration-

Inter Class Competitions-
  • Quiz on Ramayan – for I & II
  • Diya & Candle Making Competition- for III to V
  • Ganpati Making Competition- for classes VI to VIII
  • Vandanvar Making Competition- for IX to XI

On the occasion of Diwali different cultural programme as well as Interclass Competition had been organised by the school. Certificates had been given to the winners.

C. Children’s Day Celebration-

A cultural programme had been organised by the school on the occasion of children’s day and distributed the sweets to children. Teachers also performed and given different messages to the students.

D. Rangoli Making and Diya Decorating- (Inter House competition)-

On the occasion of Diwali, paper rangoli making and diya decoration competition had been organised by the school. Certificates had been given to the students.

8. DECEMBER-

A. Karate Championship-

District Karate Association of Muzaffarnagar organised a Karate Championship in which the students of Maples Academy showed their extra ordinary talent and won the Gold, Silver & Bronze medal.

B. Badminton Championship-

National Level Junior Badminton Championship had organised by the PNB Metlife in Delhi in which Dev Maheshwari had participated and won runner up award and enlighten the name of the school.

C. Drawing Competition-

Children Welfare Foundation had organised a Drawing Competition on the occasion of Maa Sharda Jayanti at Shri Ram Krishna Charitable Cancer hospital. Through which the students showed theuir talent and won the prize.

D. Inter Class Competitions-

  • Santa & Christmas tree making competition – for I & II
  • Relay Race competition- for III to V
  • Best out of waste competition – for classes VI to VIII
  • Design a logo for school – for IX to XI

On the occasion of Christmas, different Inter class competition had been organised by the school. Students showed their different talent and certificates had been given to winners.

E. Christmas Day Celebration- (English Song Singing- Inter House Competition)

On the occasion of Christmas Day, a cultural programme had been organised by the school, Inter-house competition had organised by the school in which the students sung a English song and enjoyed the Christmas Day also. Winners also got the prize for their performance.

9. JANUARY-

A. Republic Day Celebration-

A cultural programme had been organised by the school on the occasion of Republic Day.

B. Swachch Bharat Abhiyan-

C.B.S.E. had conducted the cleanliness programme in CBSE affiliated school. The students of Maples Academy also contributed in this mission and took part with full heartedly and gave message to others “cleanliness is godliness.”

10. FEBRUARY-

A. Hindi Skit Competition- (Inter House Competition)

Hindi Skit Competition had been organised by the school on the topic of Swachch Bharat Abhiyan depicting the message cleanliness is godliness. Certificates had been given to the winners.

11. MARCH-

A. Workshop by G.S. Bhalla-

A workshop had been organised by the school in which the guests Mr. G.S. Bhalla enlighten the staff about the educational system in India and other countries. He also shared his view about how we can improve our education system.

B. Sparrow Day-

On the occasion of Sparrow Day, poster Making/ Chart Making competition had been organised by the school. A cultural programme had also been organised in which the guests from the forestry Mr. Mahesh Chandra, Forest Officer, shared his views and distributed the sparrow house to the winners and the participants.
